Even though I was told I didn’t have a reservation, this got sorted out and the check in couldn’t have been friendlier. Nice booked breakfast given out since I was checking out before their breakfast time.
I would never go back to this place again. Extremely small bathrooms and rooms are very suffocating. Last mins had to book this for fall foliage trip otherwise would never go there again.

Unsatisfied weekend
I got what i paid for. Wasn't told about a 250 deposit for cash stay which left me with 50 to feed me and my girlfriend for the weekend. The man running the check in was rude and they didn't clean our room while we were out so dirty sheets and wt towels. Probably won't stay again unless free and would never tell friends or family to book here
The facility is pretty tired. My door was really hard to close well, the water valve is piped to act reverse from what you normally do to make water hotter, but the room was cleaned well. Since there was snow on the ground, and many larger trucks were parking, the lot was somewhat of a freeforall.

Very good value for the money, but smaller than other places we found. Staff was friendly, but the room's walls seemed thin enough to let the cold in in some places
The room wasn’t as advertised. The room is old and doesn’t cancel noise from outside. Someone was blasting music all night. There was a wide crevice between the door and the wall that made the room bright at night. Not worth the value.

Perfect location. The room had everything we needed but is in need of some updating. The staff was not as available as I would have liked.
The room smells horrible. like mold AC and heating unit was given a horrible smell And is a very loud very old. Looks like nobody change filters. At all I couldn't take it. After the first night, I had a horrible nose bleeds. And headaches The place is a dump I left my food in the refrigerator the next day and It was all gone. And the room was not even cleaned The front door doesn't even close properly. I would not recommend it to anybody to leave and stuff in those rooms. I didn't. Breakfast forget about it bad Definitely never going back there again, even if they give me this place for free.
Sure, it's a dump, but you paid $65 per night, so what did you expect? The room is a bit small, but freshly painted (for the most part). The ceramic-tile bathroom is small, but tidy, except there is a 1-inch gap running between the ceiling's dry wall and the wall... How does one do that? The main complaint about the bathroom though: the water was lukewarm: a shattered dream of a hot shower after a day of skiing. Just as lukewarm the next morning, too. Another major complaint: my mattress was ripped (!) right through the middle, letting my body sink into the hole. Not a good night sleep. A breakfast with sausage (frozen ones added to cook right alongside cooked ones) but no eggs. Go figure. Friendly owners/operators, but fake news CNN is on 24-7 in the lobby. Didn't know anybody was still watching that.
The room we stayed in was in the middle of being fixed from what I am guessing was a break in. The bathroom was repaired but the water wasn’t turned back on so I had to call the office. There was sheet rock dust everywhere. The bathroom door wouldany close. Hair dryer was not mounted properly and didn’t work. The door to the out side was missing the sweep on the bottom , trim , the inside trim was hanging by a few nails. The lock barley worked. You could see around the whole door. We were woken at midnight with fire works. They should have kept this room closed until repairs were finished. We have been many places and believe this was the worst. Will not return.
Convenient location, very inexpensive, good selection for breakfast (although the bread and bagel quality is very sub par), ample parking.
With that said, upon our entering of the room there was a very foul smell; leaving the door open and running the bathroom fan did not help, so the following day we bought an air freshener, which only temporarily helped.
Walls were very thin and you could hear the people above us and next to us walking and talking.
Looking at the door frame of the door to enter the room, it appeared that there have been attempts to break in - for this reason we kept the chain lock on, although we did not experience anything.
One morning we lost power, but the owner quickly was able to help alleviate.
When returning the area in the future, I will not stay here.
I’m a traveling nurse and work doubles (2:45p - 7:15a). When I arrived in Rutland, I headed straight to my job. Because I couldn’t check in to my room, I called the property. I was told I could check in in the morning since my room was already paid for. Well, the manager called my home and was pretty nasty to my husband. The message to for me was: “if she doesn’t check in by midnight, she loses the room!” I immediately called the facility again and was told by the clerk that he was mistaken and I had to be there by 12a. I got someone to cover for me at work and raced over there, only to be met with locked doors! After ringing the doorbell several times, I called their phone. I checked in (a long process) and went back to work. When I went into my room the next morning, it was freezing! I then went to turn on the t.v. and it didn’t work. I attempted to call the front desk, and the phone didn’t work! I needed another blanket, as the one on the bed was paper thin. I walked to the office and got a blanket and the guy came to fix the t.v. The room was STILL freezing! I grabbed the hairdryer out of the tiny, gross bathroom and heated up the sheets. I went to put something in the fridge, but it was filthy (see photo). I had to sleep in my coat, fully dressed. As I looked up to the ceiling, a dead fly was right above me (see photo). I needed some sleep as I had to be back to work at 2:45p for another double and it was going on 10am already. I didn’t spend the 2nd nite I reserved!!
The desk clerk was unable to explain the pricing, other than to say that the room was paid by a virtual credit card. The manager, when called, provided a better description. The room was very cold upon entering and we were unable to activate the heater. Fortunately, the maintenance gentleman arrived shortly and activated the heater. Nevertheless, room was not effectively warm during the night until the early morning hours. We could not seem to get warm enough during the night and wore extra clothing in an effort to keep warm. In addition, the heater unit was covered in dust externally and internally within the cover. We showed this filth to the maintenance man at the time that he activated the heating unit. He promised us that someone would arrive the next day to clean the unit. That did not happen. We returned the following afternoon to find the garbage container still full and the heating unit still full of dust and the room cold once again. We turned on the heating unit. I went to the office and gave the same receptionist the garbage bag and asked for tissues, soap, and new towels. Housekeeping was doing laundry at the time, but she would bring us towels later. That did not happen. I said the heating unit did work well and was still dusty. I asked for blanket, but did not get one. Next day, the heater was still not cleaned. Day 3 (departure), the worker would not open the door before 7am to allow us to check out. Breakfast was sufficient. Location fine.
One night stay, as expected for an Econo Lodge. Easy to get to, as described.

This place is an amazing deal - hard to beat the cost to value ration. I paid $66 with tax for a room less than 30 minutes from Killington on a holiday weekend. Room is very small and dated, but clean and in line with the price I paid. In our room with two double beds, one side of each was against the wall - probably not comfy for four people, but worked fine for two of us.
Check in was a little slow, but front desk rep was pleasant.
Breakfast was not amazing, but in line with what I paid for the room - make your own waffles, mass produced bake goods, hard boiled eggs, etc.
Bottom line, not where I'd choose for an extended stay, but perfect for an overnight place to sleep. I'll choose it every time I'm at Killington / Rutland.

Acceptable given the budget price. The room was clean and the beds were ok, and there was an extensive continental breakfast (though quality was not as good as quantity). The room was small and there was a faint chemical cleaner odor, and the heater was loud. We stayed two nights the room was not cleaned after our first.
