Ocean Eden Bay - Adults Only - All inclusive

2/10 Terrible

"No A/C for the first two days of my 4 day stay. Housekeeping stole my one of a kind “braid” shower cap. When I reported it, no one cared. Buffet was the best place to eat. All other restaurants were bland or just downright nasty tasting. The Steakhouse was horrible. Hibachi grill (Shakura ) was okay. Definitely not worth the $1700.88 I spent. Save yourself the headache and money and go elsewhere. Mist of the staff was professional and friendly but the ones who weren’t should find another job. Pool is only 3 ft deep so no swimming. If you’re privileged you can go to the ocean but make sure you have swimming shoes because the rocks in the water will cut you. Check In was very unorganized, there’s always a line no matter what time of day you go to talk to someone. Room Service does not answer calls so it’s non existent. Overall, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DON’T GO TO OCEAN EDEN BAY ADULTS ONLY. GARBAGE RESORT AND COMPOUND."

"We loved the property and the whole experience. It was our first wedding anniversary and was above and beyond our expectations. The room and view was breathtaking. Staff was excellent. The food was delicious. And the availability of dining choices and times were ideal. The entertainment was top notch. We had the time of our life for five days. Keep up the good work. We would like info on special rates and such. We want to come back. Thanks and God bless. Jon A."

"I've stayed at this hotel before, I thoroughly enjoyed it. This time at the age of 71 I was placed on 5th floor. Half a mile from everything. Views was EXCELLENT. I like the room, was too tired to go back to reception to change rooms. We were told to go up the ramp and take the lift. This brought us to the other side. We had to walk all the way round to our room. After how many hours of travelling. We had no energy left to sort out room. Also the room number on the paper work says H and then the number. We were never told the number. We had to ask. We were not given a ticket for towels. We had to come back from the towel station to reception to get a towel card. Majority of the staff was pleasant. Gate personnel and car park attendant was excellent. Grounds immaculate. Food was ok. Guest do not abide by the dress code in the self serve dining area. They sit on the chairs with bare skin. A lot of guest has little clothing on their thighs. No one cleans it when they leave. Is this ok. Or am I missing something here. The jerk hut was my favourite place. only problem I had to wait over 30 minutes each day to be served. I am over 70 and they should give priority to the seniors. Although the food was very nice there. The salad runs out very quickly, salad as in lettuce. Beach was clean and very enjoyable. Bar staff excellent. Room cleaning was excellent. Except for some tiny ants on the wall by the coffee machine. Entertainment was ok. I may stay again."

"100% worth the money! Everyone was so nice and explained everything well as it was our first stay at a resort. All of the food and drinks we had we're delicious and the perfect portions. It only got busy on Friday, so I'd recommend staying earlier in the week if you're not a fan of big crowds. The only issue is its not ADA friendly as there is a lot of walking and stairs so mobility devices can be difficult to have there"
