"This was misleading advertising on Hotels.com. I selected a tent with 2 queen beds and a bunk bed for about R1700. Just before we arrived I got a call from the hosts and let them know that 2 friends would arrive 30 minutes before us. I was told that I would have to pay an additional R790 for them because they charge extra each person over 2. This was not made clear on the app. This accommodation was not worth over R2,500 for the night. Unhappy guests who feel ripped off."

"Well deserving of a 5 star rating. This hotel is very conveniently situated opposite the Company Gardens, for a morning stroll and access to the Natural History Museum. The (club) room was spacious and very comfortable with high quality furnuishings. All of the staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was expansive and the main restaurant/menu/food and presentation were first class.I did not use the gym or pool. Highly recommended."

"This is a very nice hotel in the centre of the V & A in Cape Town. Just a short walk to the main shopping mall and restaurant’s. The hotel staff make this a place to return too. Everyone was exceptionally kind, welcoming and helpful. Special thanks to the restaurant and bar staff. There is a lovely friendly atmosphere in the main restaurant."
