"The air conditioner in our room was extremely loud, so we had to turn it off to be able to sleep. However, the room became very cold in the middle of the night. Also, the breakfast was not as described in the listing. It was far from a continental breakfast and overall felt very basic and below expectations."

"Michelle was extremely helpful. She went above and beyond. My daughter was running the half marathon and she needed to pick up her credentials by 2p. We were going to miss the cutoff. Michelle graciously offered to pick up the packet/credentials so that’s we had it upon check in. 🙏"

The staff would leave the door open to the rooms being cleaned. While this in itself is normal, what sucked was the cleaning people spoke very loudly to each other and on their radios and seemed to have no problem calling (yelling) down the hall to coworkers. "Beautiful historic building very nice well appointed room. Great cleaning staff and amenities in the room. Just wish they had double panes windows bc it can get noisy. Otherwise very charming lovely stay."

"There is no bar, restaurant. They offer complimentary breakfast but there was no restaurant at the hotel. Valet parking is the only option at 47.00 per day. The hotel is dated and needs to be remodeled. The rooms are small and restrooms need to be remodeled. I will not be back."

They deserve the maximum star rating and I highly recommend Signature inn Santa Clara to you! Additionally, the bus stop is just in front of the hotel, and only three stops you will get to the Caltrain transit centre, the Costco is also not far away, what are you waiting for, book it &experience it."
