"We were staying in Dubrovnik but had planned to have one overnight trip to Lumbarda via Korcula to explore the region. When we landed off the boat taxi in Korcula, we initially wondered why we had bothered, as it seemed like sleepy town, but once we had had a coffee and ice cream, and been picked up by Ksenija, our host, and whisked to our spotless apartment with wonderful views of the town and the bay, treated to local wine, bread and cheese, we quickly warmed to the place. "It was wonderful at the hotel. The rooms had a/c, it’s right on the beach and near so many places to eat. The staff are very helpful. My only issue would be the lack of elevator for luggage however the staff are more than willing to offer someone to help with the luggage. We carried our own and it was fine. Just something to note.
