I booked a room, upon arrival i was informed my bed was already sold to someone else and was forced to pay an additional fee for an upgrade as that was all that was available. Was told it's that or cancel the booking even though the email stated no refunds !! I had roaches running around and felt stuff crawling on me. Never again !! R550 paid for a terrible night of little sleep and i could not even...

Fixed after 2 requests, then not bright enaough Electric plug socket fouled by top of desk unit in double bed room Toilet paper holder by washbasin instead of by toilet. No "do not disturb" sign despite many requests. Good Nespresso machine, but mug too tall to...

"We had a lovely stay at Acara. The host was a joy to converse with and very accommodating. The location was excellent and made it easy to visit many vineyards, beaches, and shopping in the surrounding area. The views of the mountains, vineyards, and horses from our cottage were also a highlight. We look forward to visiting again! "

"Basic accommodations, didnt look like the photos. Less of a hotel bit like staying in someone house. Mold around shower and ok room for a quick overnight stay. 20 min walk to restaurants though. Bed comfy. "
