The location is perfect, just steps from Trevi fountain. The location is a little hard to find, but once there, it’s the perfect site. The room we stayed in was very nice, we were able to enjoy a nice, hot shower, and the amenities were on point. I definitely recommend this location.

The floor level on the reception is terrible. You hear the elevator, the reception phone ringing all night, the main door slamming and the people above you.

This hotel was less than two minutes away from the trevi fountain. This area always had people around and restaurants opened late. We felt very safe return to our hotel every night. Please know that this is not a traditional hotel. There is no staff on sight after 7:30. However, they cleaned our rooms everyday and even helped us make dinner reservations. The beds were very comfortable and air conditioning was good. Nothing beats the location.

The hotel doesn’t have a staff member onsite 24/7. You need to use your hotel key to get in and out of the building. The hotel is very close to the Trevi fountain. The street in front of the hotel is very crowded but the room wasn’t noisy.

Location, Location, Location. 50 steps from the Trevi Fountain. It was wonderful close to everything walking or short Uber ride. Beautifully decorated guest house with high end amenities, and wonderful staff. We had a great visit.

Hotel is only a few steps from Trevi Fountain but street is more like an alley and packed with tourists thus is super noisy. Since we drove, took us over an hour circling Rome traffic to find the place but only with the help of a local who we hired for $50 and rode with us to the front door. I have to emphasize the street is more of an alley and along the way restaurants chairs and retail displays on the side. Only hotel sign is maybe an 8” tall sign on an old 5’ ft wide door. We would never have found the place on our own. Entry is thru a long hallway about 4ft wide (a section is only like 3ft wide) while the reception counter is on the 2nd level. Many unusual steps on each floor which is a trip hazard. Should have known since this was our 3rd visit to Rome though all our prior stays had no issues. Rooms & baths were nicely updated though. Lobby closes @7p so nobody to call in case of issues. Forced to check out @7a otherwise it would be a struggle to drive thru the alley again with all the tourists around. We transferred to another hotel near the presidential palace located on a normal street. Having traveled to 40 countries, this was the most stressful just to find the hotel. Our fault though since we drove. For some this would be a perfect location where all the action is.

Loved our stay here! The Trevi Fountain is less than a minute walk. There are so many dining options all around the area. The staff were so helpful and great! The decor was so cute! I will be staying here again.

Absolute *gem* in the heart of Monti
We loved our stay here. Service was top notch from the time we booked and were inquiring about a car service, to the welcome we received upon arrival. Our room and hotel location were great, as were the local tips provided to us based on our particular interests. I liked that we were close to the Fountain Trevi, so we saw it everyday, without going out of our way and getting stuck in the crowd. Thank you especially to Linda and Aira for giving us such a spectacular first impression of Rome and tips on how to navigate. We would return and highly recommend to anyone seeking our advice. 10/10. This location was fantastic! Literally a block from the Trevi fountain. We could see it from our room window on the 3rd floor. The place was super clean and the bed was comfortable. There was plenty of shopping and dining you could walk to. And Aira in reception was fabulous! The elevator is very Slow but thank God for it. And the air conditioning isn’t very cold. But I definitely recommend this location!!

Great location! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was small but nice and clean. Could not get a taxi at 9am despite front desk calling for one in advance so had to walk with luggage to the train station 35 min away so just be aware that taxis may be hard to get. Would stay here again!

They advertise it as 15 meters from the Trevi Fountain, which isn't true. It is 80 meters. No staff when I checked in, but I found the room and could get in. The area is crazy busy with tourists. The room was small but nicely updated (probably too small for 2 guests and their suitcases). There really wasn't a window (just a tiny one near the tall ceiling, but curtains to make it look like there was). Overall pretty nice place and nice stay but a little claustrophobic due to the lack of window and light.

The hotel is modern/renovated a century old building, narrow halls. The inside aesthetic is nice. Outside, it’s easy to miss the hotel as it’s just a door. The elevator is super slow and small, but again that’s because of how old the building is. Checking-in was easy and the only good part of our stay. We spent three nights and our room was only cleaned once, even though we wanted it clean each day. Garbage was not removed, sheets and towels not changed, no toilet paper and after 7pm there’s no reception to contact. There is an emergency number they provide but I believe that’s more for if you happen to get locked out of the building. Not all hotel keys worked. The receptionist said our room had a partial view of the Trevi Fountain, not the case. Maybe if you squint…Although it’s less than a minute walk, right down the street. The area is extremely busy with tourist and exceptionally hard to get transportation from and to. We tried on our own to get a cab and was unsuccessful as reception was also unable to book transportation for us. Area is extremely loud and noisy with tourist and also, performers as close-by restaurants and usually doesn’t quiet down until after 1-2am… you can hear everything through the walls… again really old building. The location was walking distance to major sites but if you want comfort, cleanliness and amenities, stay somewhere else. First time staying in boutique hotel and definitely our last. We waited too long to book, was left with few option.

Dear Ms. Barr,Thank you for taking your time on writing us a review.Palazzetto Trevi is a historic palace and it was not supposed to have an elevator but we managed to build one and in order to do that we even found an old roman road under the building. We would like to inform you that we are a guest house and we do not have 24/7 reception, but we are always at disposal in any kind of emergency our clients will have. We would like to mention that we've asked you if you will be needing housekeeping to your room(as we value our guest's privacy if they don't want housekeeping entering their room) but you said it was not needed which is why our staff did not enter your room. Our location is in the heart of Rome and as you know it's the busiest time of the year and having a lot of tourist in the area is unavoidable. We always do our best to help our clients and calling a cab is something we always do but unfortunately sometimes it happens that there is no taxi around. We are sad to know that you had this problem with us but as we mention we just opened recently and everyday we do our best to improve Palazzetto Trevi for our future guests. This is a very cute and charming hotel that is located literally right next to Trevi fountain. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great to walk to about every major itinerary. However, because it’s in a very touristy area, the crowds and the trash pick up get a little annoying.
