Grazioso alberghetto

Piccolo hotel di charme, con camere molto raccolte, ma con dettagli di qualità. Ottimo servizio e cura del cliente. Posizione strategica, ma non bellissima. Delizioso il terrazzino apparecchiato per la colazione.

le else to rave about.

We picked this hotel because it was near Rome and offered all we needed. The staff at this hotel could not be more helpful, however the hotels appearance lets it down from the moment you arrive. When we turned up at the location we were a little concerned to say the least with regards to the site that awaited us; beer bottles strewn across the roadside by the bridge and a pile of rubbish which someone had disposed off. This along with the graffiti left us wishing we’d chosen somewhere else. The room itself was nice enough; although please be aware that the building seems to shake when the tram passes by and the tram passes frequently. Also we feel it should make you aware that the free parking is not parking as we’d have expected it, instead you dump your car on the roadside near the hotel. We hoped that breakfast might be the saving grace for this place, however this was not the case: choices were limited, you had to ask for drinks and one morning we didn’t even have cheese just a small selection of ham and a handful of pastries. We certainly wouldn’t be returning to this hotel, and that is not the fault of the staff who could not have been more pleasant.

Les chambres manquent de fenêtres assez grandes. Le personnel du petit déjeuner était sympa et serviable. L'établissement est propre. Les équipements de salle de bains sont à revoir.

Nonostante una prima impressione di perplessità, il giudizio finale è pienamente positivo. L' hotel è molto originale e anche se non dispone di ampi spazi, offre ai clienti tutti i comfort necessari. È molto curato nei particolari e ben pulito; il personale è cordiale e disponibile. La reception è attiva solo fino alle 20, dopodiché si accede muniti di chiavi.

NEEDS UPGRADE

This hotel was out dated. Needs new paint on walls and furniture. The balcony off our room needs a good cleaning. The lady that runs the hotel was one of the sweetest in Europe!! Very hard worker !!!

Interesting Old Hotel

I enjoyed this quirky old hotel very much. It's an elevator-less four floor old building with oddly juxtaposed levels, almost like an M C Escher drawing. For all that, it's very elegant, cozy and dignified. My room was immaculate and very comfortable, even if my bathroom was four marble steps down from the sleeping level. Each floor has sitting rooms and terraces with lattice walls, grape vines and flowering shrubs. It's in a very old neighborhood, San Lorenzo, adjacent to the University of Rome and loaded with terrific little restaurants. The lack of an elevator assures you'll get some exercise when you come back from your meals. Of course, this hotel is NOT for mobility-challenged persons.

A small but reasonable price with a fresh breakfas

A small hotel but clean and cozy with full fresh breakfast for a very reasonable price. Even though the hotel is not in the central location but it is easily accessible through trams to central. It requires some walking to tram stations. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We came back after few days to Sorrento. It would be better if the shower room is a little bigger to move around. Overall, this hotel is a good place to stay for a short period of time for transition.

Impossible d'être satisfait.

Petit hôtel, très petites chambres, petite salle d'eau. Cela pourrait être assez bien si c'était propre et plus clair car cet établissement a surement connu une période plus glorieuse. Les matériaux et la décoration en témoignent. Le quartier est particulièrement sale et infect. Quant au personnel, il fait tout son possible pour essayer de donner satisfaction.

Charmigt och prisvärt.

Ett minst sagt annorlunda men gulligt hotell. Härliga unga servicebenägna personer i både reception och frukost. Nära till kommunikationer in till centrala Rom. Ett något stökigt och annorlunda studentområde men tryggt ändå.

Beautiful basepoint

L'Hotel Vibel was an absolute gem! Excellent facilities, clean and comfortable rooms, close to easy to use transport links to and from Termini Station and the Colosseum, there's a bakery around the corner and a convenience store and a burger bar/restaurant just up the road - it was everything you needed for a base. The staff couldn't have been more helpful! During out visit Rome experienced some unusual adverse weather which caused a small leak in our room, but we were quickly moved with no questions or hassle and they moved our bags for us when we'd left for the day as the room we were moving to wasn't yet vacated. Breakfast was lovely, good selection of breads, fruits, juices, cereals and pastries. Coffee was made as and when so it was lovely and fresh. Staff were also willing and able to give us advice on transport in snowy conditions as services were severely limited and even upon our departure we were given a bottle of water to take on our trip to Vatican City. Overall the building was lovely, the rooms were a fair size and the bathrooms were well equipped (Hairdryer and showercaps included - bonus!), and communal spaces were inviting and comfortable. Due to the weather, we missed out on a lot of sights that Rome has to offer so we are planning to go back later this year - We will 100% be booking in at L'Hotel Vibel again!!

Même si l'environnement urbain n'est pas très harmonieux, le quartier offre beaucoup de possibilités de restaurations à prix abordables. Les moyens de transport sont très pratiques et proches. Nous avons beaucoup aimé l'hôtel. Il est cosy et calme, avec un accueil très chaleureux et une équipe très disponible et sympathique.

Nice enough but do your area research!

The hotel is cute and the employees who work here are nice. The outdoor terrace looked really fun but rain prevented us from enjoying it. I will say that the local area is not nice. We picked this location to be close to the train station for ease of travel and didn't realize that it would be as sketchy of a neighborhood as it was. This is NOT the nice part of Rome. Graffiti everywhere and some questionable parks made us not want to spend time near our room. Never did get the WiFi to work...

Un séjour agréable

Suberbe hôtel bien placé pour vosoter Rome. L acceuil est super. La chambre est très propre avec un frigo. Le petit dej est très bon avec possibilité de le prendre sur une terrasse. Parking gratuit et sûre. Ne pas se fier au quartier. L endroit est sûr. 15 mn en tram pour aller au Colisée depuis l hôtel. Très bien pour passer 2 ou 3 jours. Je le recommande.
