This hotel tried to palm us off with a classic room after I booked a superior room , the plug socket then fell out when charging my phone exposing live wires , then the room was upgraded however had wet spots on the roof above sleeping are and a dangerous cardboard box taped over a working light bulb ..

We booked this hotel for the pool and it was freezing cold. We also asked for an extra bed or sofa bed which we would have happily paid for but were not helpful in providing. Housekeeping would not replenish toilet rolls and towels and when we asked for more we were told to come to reception to collect.. Breakfast was disappointing. We ate butter and bread rolls each morning due to the lack of selection and because they never kept topping up anything.

Our room was not in the hotel advertised. The place was full of rubbish and dirty at the entrance. The spa was cold and again not as advertised. Very disappointed overall

The property itself was nice and breakfast was good. They need to consider replenishing breakfast items as they finish otherwise not fair for people who’ve paid for breakfast and don’t get the full choice. Also our room was in another building across the street so not convenient. Seems as though they have bought a floor of this building but they need to charge less for these rooms as does not look like a hotel at all.
