The rooms were fine, and the rooftop bar and restaurant provided limited but well prepared items of food and drinks. The biggest problem was the location of the hostel/hotel as no taxis, Uber included were not willing to come to the front door which is on a dead end street. Instead one had to walk out to a side street and wait by the garbage dumpsters to be picked up and dropped off.

A little hard to find at the beginning, but the location is great, very well connected to the metro station which takes us to the landmarks quickly. The hotel was nice and the room comfortable and clean, the only not so good part was that we got a room where the bathroom was for people with disabilities, so it was a little uncomfortable because every time we took a shower everything got wet and toilet too high! But aparte from that I will highly recommend the hotel!

As in regards for the toilet, we have to have at least a certain % of disable rooms by law, and we know that it sometimes impacts after someone takes a shower, we are actually are investing for a special door allowing a water protection for everyone.Hope to see you again in the future

Staff were really friendly; George the director was great and very accommodating. The property was very clean, modern and practical. Location was good but the surrounding streets are dark and quiet. Area only looks bad because of the graffiti and dark but i guess, thats normal in rome. There's a lot of walkable restaurants and we were safe.

Expensive and terrible
Quite possibly the most expensive and horrible hotel I've ever stayed in. 1. Incredibly hard to find, there is no proper signage and you just find it down a back alley. 2. Our AC didn't work over the two nights we stayed here, the staff didn't seem to care. 3. Our blinds were broken, again, staff didn't care to rectify it. 4. Access to anything in this hotel requires a staff member to fix... 5. The washing/drying machines they say are open 24/7 they're not, the staff again. Refused to elaborate or help when someone had forgotten to get their wet, smelly clothes out of the machines. 6. Final thing, no HOT water, at any time in the hotel. Again, the staff don't care. Don't stay here. Only redeeming feature is location and the Gym.

This place is hard to locate. Need outside sign so guest knows where to enter. It stated laundry in facility but the laundry is for students only and not for guest. It’s very misleading. I would never book any hotel with no laundry in facility

This property was a mixed bag. It is difficult to find. It’s off a road, down an alleyway, and around a corner. I didn’t see any obvious signage and construction near the building further disguised the entrance. Once we arrived, we stood outside holding our heavy bags trying to get inside. There was no access besides keycard access. Luckily a guest came out and we walked in behind them. When got to the front desk, we asked how we are supposed to get in to check in - they said you can’t without a keycard and seemed unsure why we were annoyed after waiting to get in. There needs to be an eyeline to the doors from the front desk or a buzzer to be let in. We received a room card that had obviously been used before. This made us uncomfortable as RFID cards are VERY easy to copy or spoof and having one card (with the room number on it) is not secure at all. The room was fine, but there was a white board that looked like it couldn’t be fully cleaned. There were obscene drawings - not an issue for us, but I could see where it could be for some. The shower doesn’t drain well from the back, leaving that area hard to rinse off or clean. It was also half open causing a lot of water to splash, without a well powered fan causing the room to get very steamy, and no place to set our things. There was also a light near the door that flashed colors and there was no way to turn it off. The rooftop “bar” is only open for breakfast. But it is close to Rome central and was a good price.

We take all our customers feedback in the most important way possible because in the end it is the best way to improve our services.As in regard to the difficulty of our position unfortunately the private street where you managed to enter, Expedia doesn't accept it so we had to use the closest street. This month we will be installing on the street several communications guiding everyone directly to our reception (we understand that sometimes it can be challenging, I apologize for your experience).We managed to finally clean what you reported, until this day, we are astonished with the marker that managed to write that, we had to use a very powerful chemical product to remove it.I can also tell you that our bar is open from 7.30 to 23 since yesterday to everyone.To sum it, we take all your feedback into consideration and we will do our very best to improve every single thing you mentioned.We do hope to see you again in the future,Sincerely,

I loved the concept of this property and was excited to stay here because of its modern look. The room was comfortable enough to spend a short-term amount of time in. Staff could improve cleanliness by providing signs that request your room to be cleaned. There were a couple of times that we had to ask for fresh towels and room cleaning since they do not check after a certain time. The area was great if you don’t want to stay within the Rome city centre. Major attractions were minutes away from Sam Giovanni subway station. I’ve read in other comments that the location was hard to find. If you decide to stay at this hotel advise the taxi to drop you off at then driving school. Once you’ve arrived just go through the alley and you’ll see the hotel on your right. Super easy. The room could have used a few more amenities such as a coffee machine or percolator. Also, more pillows could have been provided since they’re pretty flat. The breakfast buffet was very minimum. You’re better off ordering from their cafe (great views) or heading over to a good spot called Molino - which is near by. Hotel staff could have been a bit more helpful in booking taxis or providing information on services that take you to the airport. Overall it was a fine stay!

Really fantastic
A little hard to find initially because it’s not on the Main Street but otherwise it’s a great location close up the metro station so perfect home base for sight seeing. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The staff was so nice!

I Was hesitant to book this hotel since it only had few reviews when I booked but I don’t regret booking it and staying there for 10 nights. Rome is beautiful and this hotel is located about 20 minutes walking distance to the colosseum. The area is quite and the hotel is new and has all the necessary amenities. We had a problem with the safe and housekeeping for couple times but everything was taken care of immediately. We also had a problem with our booking, Roberta and Gabriel helped us get through it and made it easy and worked around it for us. They have a rooftop breakfast (menu and buffet) that you could choose from every morning. I would come back and stay at this hotel next time I visit Rome again!

I had a wonderful stay at dotCampus in Rome, a hotel nestled in the suburban tranquility yet conveniently connected to the city. With buses 85, 87, and MA15 right at your doorstep, reaching the heart of Rome takes only about 15 minutes, making exploration a breeze. If you're arriving at Ciampino Airport (CIA), the €6.90 bus ticket to Rome Termini is a smart choice, followed by the MA15 to the hotel. Finding the hotel could be a little tricky as Google Maps might lead you astray, but a quick turnaround reveals its entrance. Once inside, the cleanliness is immediately noticeable, and the gym facilities are impressive. The receptionist's warmth and assistance add to the pleasant experience. The spacious and tidy rooms provided a comfortable retreat, though note that breakfast isn't included. The complimentary WiFi ensures you stay connected. Remember, the entrance is locked, but a simple click of the intercom grants you access. The hotel's availability during term time holidays like June, July, August, and September, making it an excellent option for seasonal travel. Overall, dotCampus offers a clean, spacious haven with friendly service, making it a great base for exploring Rome.

I loved the modern room, and lobby. I felt like it had all of the necessities you need for a great nights sleep and shower. The location is a walking distance to the colosseum and you truly felt like a local. Far from most other tourisitic locations. The staff was not warm or welcoming and when concerns were raised they were not addressed, like a non working safe. When it comes to hospitality, they could improve training in this area for all staff. Including information about what the space provides, how to access accommodations etc. Also, the Room was not cleaned daily despite requests to so. But despite all of that, at least I can say I had a good nights sleep

Toda ha ido muy bien, los trabajadores muy amables y siempre ayudando. Muy bien situado y cerca de estaciones de bus metro y tren. Limpian la habitacion cada dia. El desayuno esta bien pero ahi se podria mejor un poco por lo demas todo perfecto.

Small but clean room. Cleaning every day. Elevator problems allmost every time, have to walk 6 floors up and down. TV was controlled from elsewhere. Washroom mirror light didn’t work and washroom was quite dark. Breakfast was quite poor. Only 1 warm drink at breakfast, a couple of bread and few slices of cheece and salami and yogurth. The staff took the rest of the food away in the middle of the breakfast. Staff was ok but nothing special. The location is fairly good, because of nearby metro station.
