"Location great; 2 sitting areas and great views of the kangaroos skipping past"

"We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the room with a card from Lane Retreat wishing our 10year old @Buckythefriendlypup a Happy Birthday and enjoy our wine country celebrations. The breakfast selections were excellent. Parking was convenient. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Pool was clean. We including the poochies enjoyed our stay!"

"Set back from mcdonalds road so pretty quiet. We enjoyed the balcony and the view from it."

"The place was lovely but the air-conditioner in both bedrooms needed replacing. The manager did give us a good heater after being cold in both bedrooms on the first night. We needed to leave the door open in the 2nd bedroom to allow the heat to flow through from the living area. "

"The room is spacious, clean and well equipped. Most importantly, the bed is super comfortable. They offer fine dining for dinner and European breakfast. All servicing staff are helpful, accommodating and polite! Simply enjoyed my stay at Spicers Guesthouse!"

"Was very close to our venue. And accommodated a lot of us staying there"

"All interactions with staff were universally friendly, courteous and helpful. 2 bed villa was spacious, well appointed, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was a delight. Happy to recommend !"

"Great location and very central to everything. A nice cafe on site with great food and really friendly staff. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even though we didn’t have in-house housekeeping each day, they offered clean towels, pool towels, dishwashing liquid etc, so we never ran short. There was a great pool which was nice and warm with a cover over one end to protect you from the sun. All in all a great place to stay. Would be a...

"On arrival there was no visible reception, which was surprising given how busy the weekend was. It was very confusing to find our accommodation and we had to call multiple times before anyone answered. The room provided was not the one we booked, and the property looked very run-down. Perhaps new owners but they certainly weren’t very helpful. Rooms were not serviced. For $1,000 for two nights, it was definitely not worth the money and would say, was the worst place we’ve stayed in Pokolbin. Very...

"Love this place, such a beautiful spot and owners are so friendly and down to earth. We will definitely be returning."

"This is the 3rd time i have stayed at the woolshed. Love the accomodation, very clean and everything you need is available."

"We had the most amazing stay here in a 3 bedroom house. It was very large and great for entertaining as we also had some family staying at Peppers. Will be back again."

"What a beautiful, intimate, quaint cottage and only 10 minutes from the vineyards. Helen was the most lovely host, very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. It was so peaceful and it felt like we were stepping into a cottage in the rolling hills of England. We loved our stay, the lovely breakfast each morning and definitely will be returning in the cooler months to sit around the beautiful log fire with a bottle of the Hunter’s finest."

"Clean room very friendly and helpful husband wife owners on the spot to greet and farewell Thank you"
