"One of the nicer resorts on the island, however most of the staff did not seem super happy to be there. We consistently tipped, on top of the required tip that was included in each bill, however even that did not yield extra enthusiasm or a desire to provide top tier service. They like to do loud lawn work between 5:30-6:20 am so if sleep is on the agenda, you should choose another resort."

"What a great spot! I have stayed at several places in Roatan and this is by far one of the best! Super clean! The staff is super attentive and super friendly! Never once did they make me feel like me and my partners were unwanted! Such a lovely spot and super private! 10/10 would recommend!"

"Our stay at La Placita was perfect. Staff were so kind and they all felt like family by the time our stay was over. Kemberly and Michael at the front desk are the best! Breakfast was made to order and always very good. Edward was our waiter most mornings for breakfast and he was fantastic! Our room and beds were very comfortable and clean. We will definitely stay at La Placita the next time we come back to Roatan!"
