Lobby has space to sit and read, cozy fireplace, big windows, for when you want to give your travel companion space. Fresh brewed coffee in the morning, restaurant on site for lunch and dinner and the locals use the restaurant. Pool is heated when open for season, call ahead to confirm. "The room has so many tiny moths and spiders. We thought if there was dead flesh somewhere in the room. The pillows are tiny and soft. You could fold 3 times and it wouldn’t be enough to sleep on. The place is an Inn and it has a history. It is supposedly haunted but we didn’t feel an energy (presence). I regretted the decision to stay as soon as I walked in. Spend the extra $100 dollars and stay near the coast in SC."

"I have wanted to stay at this property for awhile and when I finally found a good deal, I booked it. Overall, I had a great experience. Check-in was ok but took a bit. Room was on the small size but totally functional. Loved the spacious shower. The room was bright and clean. The bed was just ok, a little too firm for me. Parking was on the tighter side but ok. Great location in terms of closeness to the boardwalk and wharf. Only downside heard a lot of road noise from the street but overall...

"I needed a place to stay over the weekend here in Santa Cruz. When looking up nearby hotels to the event I wanted to go to, this one came up as close. Expedia shows this as a 7.8/10, but when you look it up on google, it says 2/5 star hotel. The thing that made me book the hotel in the first place was the fact that it was cheap and it had advertised on Expedia that it has SOUNDPROOF ROOMS.... this is an absolute lie. Once I got in my hotel room, the people in the conjoining room were blasting...

The rooms are super Clean, the location is right of the high way but it’s quiet, the location is a 30 minute walk to the boardwalk; 5 minutes if you drive. they have private parking. Also, we really enjoyed the complementary breakfast especially the waffles, nothing fancy but enough not to have to go elsewhere and spend money. "
