"Location is great- 3 minute walk to the beach and town square. I’d love to give a 5 star review but unfortunately, we had several problems throughout our stay. The hot water did not work the first day (the property fixed the next day to their credit), the sink had a consistent gurgling sound during the night which we reported but was never properly fixed and kept us up each night, our room was not cleaned the last day of our stay and we were informed the maid had left when we inquired as to...

"This was our third visit to this property, and although we still enjoyed the location, the beautiful grounds, and found the staff very helpful and accommodating, the quality and quantity of entertainment at this hotel has declined and the rooms are not as well maintained. It was very noisy during our visit. The buffet dining areas were very loud, with heavy chairs scraping across the floors, crying children, and a lot of slamming hotel room doors. "My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is slightly off the beaten path, which made it quiet and enjoyable for us. We walked to the beach and to “downtown” San Poncho every day. The restaurant at the hotel was wonderful we enjoyed amazing fresh fruit and delicious coffee every morning and we had dinner there one night as well, all were 10/10. The staff was lovely and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again. "
