"We stayed at hotel A'mare twice and both times everything was good! The rooms were very clean and functional. The staff was helpful and professional. The breakfast was huge and the terrace was lovely in the mornings. "Air conditioning wasn’t very effective. Room never got below 24 Celsius. It’s simple, has some basic pots, pans, etc., but we didn’t use the cooking top. Nice little patio area. Location is solid - it was quiet, very close to the bus station, grocery store (with self-service laundromat inside), only about 5-10 minute walk to the nearest beach and maybe 20 to Old Town. Not a ton of restaurant options in the immediate area, other than a McDonald’s."

"Apartment was high end which was what I was expecting when I booked. Added advantage was parking as this was included but you can walk to beach within 6 mins and a couple of bars and restaurants around apartment which again is all walkable but as apartment was self catering they did have a small supermarket 8 min walk away. I would stay here again as host was excellent and it was a good base to visit the surrounding areas."

"The property is absolutely stunning with memory making views of the ocean. The pool area is stunning with lots of lounge chairs . The only downside to the hotel and Croatia in general is that everything is ridiculously expensive. As Canadians expect to pay double for everything if not more. For example, we came across Restaurants, which is only $60 Canadian. Adds up when travelling as a family of 5"
