"Had a whole holiday cottage to myself for the price of a hotel room. Really generous and varied breakfast provisions, with spacious kitchen and dining area to enjoy it in. With a washing machine and airer in the property, I was able to get a load of washing done overnight, as the cottage was really warm. The only negative was the WiFi, which I found very poor, and phone signal is limited too."

"The pictures don't do the place justice, the location is great and its minutes walk into Borrowash for shops and pubs etc and only a few minutes drive into Derby. "A very roomy and comfortable flat in the city centre, with full kitchen and fridge and even a small breakfast selection. Highly recommended, I stay there whenever I can. The house does not have an elevator so be aware if you struggle with stairs. It can be noisy on the street until late but this has not bothered me. "

Good business stayover
"Check in was busy but the 2 reception guys were very efficient. Room was a little tired and very cold - couldn’t work out how to turn the aircon off and the light system was complicated. I ate in the Lounge Bar and the staff there were great, felt I couldn’t hear myself over the music - was quite loud. Food was fantastic! Didn’t sleep very well!! Breakfast was brilliant- wanted to say thank you to a fantastic member of staff that assisted me, went out of her way to find out allergen information as I have coeliac- thank you so much Sarah - you were amazing! "
