Very little information from the check in staff,( didn’t tell us when or where breakfast was served, didn’t tell us about the shuttle service to the beach, or about the chairs and parasols available on the beach).Also for an international hotel group language barrier was an issue!
Breakfast was virtually the same every morning, restaurant staff wiped the tables clean but wiped food off tables on the chairs and floor.
In our room there was mould in the shower room, the door was dirty around the handle and along the edge of the door, the air conditioning vent had lots of dust and fluff in them, the sink had mould around the top of it and there was no plug in it to hold water, light switch was dangerously loose and my wife wiped the walls down as these didn’t seem to have been done! There was an inspection hatch that was dirty with grime.The air conditioning never went lower than 22 degees even though we set to 18, the master switch for the lights didn’t work by the bed, we had to go to the door to switch off the main lighting off.
Keycard for the rooms needed resetting 7 times during our 13 night stay, this meant you couldn’t get up to your room via lift without an active keycard, and on 2 occasion we got up to our room on the 10 floor and then couldn’t access our room so we had to return to reception!
Rooftop pool was green with algae and the shower area there was very dirty, poolside lifeguard was asleep in the disabled lift(no help to any child if they were in trouble).
