Erram nos detalhes

Com mais capricho na limpeza, manutenção e café da manhã seria uma estadia ótima. O quarto tinha muitas teias de aranha, o painel da banheira de hidromassagem faltava botões e o buffet de café da manhã com reposição lenta, pouca qualidade e variedade, e mal apresentado - ovos mexidos terríveis e rechauds desligados. Também não utilizam os lençóis e toalhas de qualidade superior prometidos.O check-in e check-out foram muito rápidos e com bom atendimento. O quarto e a cama eram muito confortáveis, e tudo funcionava perfeitamente bem - frigobar, banheira, chuveiro, luzes e tomadas. A localização também é muito agradável.

Great location, very helpful staff

We booked the room with the tub and loved it! The room was clean and very comfortable. The owner was super helpful and spoke great english. I would definitely recommend this place.

Bem ao lado de bares e restaurantes, quarto bem decorado e limpo. A recepção poderia ser mais simpática, o banheiro não possuia kit higiene e o café da manhã não oferecia manteiga, somente margarina.

Beautiful location in Santa Teresa,

Two minutes walk to downtown, lovely outdoor patio, good breakfast, rooftop room with outdoor hot tub was worth the extra lush and green, amazing staff.

A pousada tem muito potencial, porem durante nossa estadia pudemos notar alguns itens que poderiam ser melhorados: -ausencia de itens de toilette no quarto ( sabonete, shampoo) - ainda que a questao da falta de privacidade na hidromassagem tenha sido resolvida com cortinas, a temperatura da agua estava fria e nao conseguimos aumenta-la. Nao nos foi dada nenhuma instrucao em como opera-la e nao havia ninguem para nos ajudar. - o cafe da manha, ainda que farto e pouco explorado. Ovos podem ser feitos na hora, mas ninguem nos ofereceu ( so descobrimos pq perguntamos), suco pronto, bolo pronto. Pequenos ajustes podem tornar a pousada muito especial, ja que as instalacoes sao lindas e a posicao e muito privilegiada

Väldigt bra boende i trendiga Santa Teresa

Superfint Pousada som höll bättre klass än de tre stjärnor som det officiellt innehar. God frukost med bl.a. färsk frukt och möjlighet att välja ägg till.

Great hotel in a great district

The building seems very small when you see it the first time, but then you enter you dive into a beautiful world of a lovely decorated big house down the hill and friendly people. I felt save and had a wonderful time there. I want to mention the breakfast! It was so great: plenty of fresh fruit, homemade food, lovely staff members... Perfect!

Oasis in Santa Teresa

Quinta Azul is a great alternative to the big hotels in Copacabana and Ipanema. It's quaint and quiet. The staff at the pousada is really exceptional and each of them were consistently super friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Elena, who is just amazing. My only suggestion is that the water in the showers needs to be warmer.

Santa Santa Teresa

La fachada del hotel es muy austera. Cuando entramos nos sorprendió gratamente lo linda y cálida que era la posada, construida en el morro, hacia abajo. La atención fue excelente. El barrio en que está emplazado, Santa Teresa, es un barrio muy bello, de construcciones muy viejas, mansiones fastuosas de otros tiempos que hoy ofrecen la belleza de su decadencia. Hay muchos centros culturales, bares y atelieres que nos brindaron la alegría de la bohemia bahiana. Hay que tener en cuenta que Santa Teresa es un morro y para llegar al hotel hay que ascender por sus calles de empadrado o escaleras pintorescas. En la base del morro se encuentra el barrio de Lapa, con mucha vida nocturna. Nosotros nos manejamos siempre caminando o en colectivo, que es lo que nos permitió estar más cerca de la gente. Muy recomendables la posada y el barrio con sus calles.

Expedia did not live up to the contract

We are not happy with our hotel stay. We booked five premium double rooms and were given only three premium rooms and two other rooms, one of which did not even have enough room to put the suitcase on the floor. Not happy - we have been overcharged for two rooms and should be reimbursed.

dishonest staff

Had booked for 3 nights. Access to hotel is not easy.. Its uphill and have to take cab from metro to get to the hotel. At time of check in requested if I can cancel one night - the last night - and the guy - Lewis at reception agreed. After I made alternate arrangements at a different hotel for the 3rd night, next day Lewis tells me he cannot cancel and I should pay 100% for the 3rd night. After I reminded him that only after his confirmation, I made alternate bookings he said I should pay 10% fee because expedia charged him. That night I called expedia and expedia confirmed they were not charging any fee. After 2 days when I was checking out, he was not at reception and I told the lady at reception that I have to 10% per Lewis for 3rd night because exedia was charging. She confirmed expedia was not charging and I could check out without paying anything. After 2 days of check out I see Lewis charged me 100% for the thrid night on my creditcard. A piece of advise, if you are a tourist stay in copacabana/leblon/ipanema area which is a upscale neighbourhood and feel good for tourist. Santa Teresa is a rundown neighbourhood and good to visit for 2-3 hours but dont take a hotel here.

Service slow and neighbourhood rather dodgy.

Nice breakfast and clean room. Unfortunately we had some issues with the room (shower) and our requests/instructions for a taxi were either ignored or left very late causing us some anxiety on departure. I was forced to carry our luggage up most of the stairs because the porter was elsewhere to meet the taxi (lots of stairs when you are staying in the basement). Some great views, but don't wander far from the hotel at night as it can get dangerous. Sadly, I would not recommend the hotel. Staff were not particularly friendly and better options in Copacabana or Ipanema, or even Niteroi, across Guanabara Bay.

Comfortable accommodation in good neighbourhood

Nice accommodation, very reasonably sized rooms, about 30 minute walk to some of the central locations. Staff very helpful and willing to provide advice on onward journey, flights, book taxis, provide directions, etc.

Simples, quase simplório

É mais um hostel do que um hotel, tem uma varanda charmosa, o bairro é legal, mas o quarto é simples, quase simplório. Sem telefone, chuveiro elétrico, o piso de cimento queimado estava com um sinteco que grudava no pé, um pouco de cheiro de mofo, mas deu para passar razoavelmente os dias no rio
