The lobby was nice and the rooms we ok.. a bit outdated but nice size rooms Air conditioning worked well. Breakfast buffet was very nice with great selections! Overall not a bad hotel for the price!

Convenient, safe location with wonderful view

I took one of the rooms with the view of Pao de Acucar, and it was fantastic. Get up for sunrise and you can get some spectacular pictures. The location felt very safe and was convenient to the Catete station on Rio's Metro line. The staff were great, and all the features of the room (heater, plugs, lamps, TV, bathroom fixtures) worked great. In terms of comforts, it would be great if they used fitted sheets for their mattresses (with the elastic band) to hold them in place. They just used tucked sheets. Not a big deal, but odd. Would also be good to have a coffeemaker/electric tea kettle of some sort given that water in Brazil isn't potable. These are common in most other countries even in 2 to 3 star hotels.

Eles me mostraram outros quartos piores.
