Room amenities adequate, including a safe, a fridge, proper lighting, enough plug in outlets. Bathroom was clean but space is tight. Breakfast is adequate but it is the same everyday. Staff doesn't really clean the placemats on the table, they just remove the dirty dishes and left the table untouched, so the placemat could be quite sticky.

Hotel is really great for the location, a short walk to Copacabana beach. The rooms themselves were average, got the job done and were clean (bathroom didn’t feel as clean). For some reason our hotel cards would work some days and then stop working which was annoying. Apart from that, perks of the location and free breakfast made it worth it.

Everything was pretty good. Not a big fan of the breakfast options but that might just be me. Didn’t get any WiFi service on the 18th floor but other than that I enjoyed my stay. It was walking distance from the Copacabana beach and it also had some nice restaurants nearby.

I got a nice view room on 17th floor. From the window of my room, I can see the statue od Christ. My room is clean. The hotel is near the copacabana beach, so I can walk there. There are mall, fruit markets, restaurants near the hotel. The area is safe. The staff is helpful. The breakfast is good.

The room was not super clean (they do not vacuum but just use the broom so the sand for example was impossible to remove totally). The sheets on the bed were too small, so as soon as you touched them they moved from under it and it was a bit uncomfortable and not so hygienic to touch the mattress below. The super positive thing is the location, you are really close to the beach and to the main areas of shopping. We walked that area also after dark and was full of police everywhere so we felt pretty safe. Ipanema is also a modest walk and is also pretty safe as well.

The bathroom was too small with no window. The blinder of the bedroom window and the key card didnt work properly. The elevators were bad and we had to take the stairs carrying lugage

Warning Stay away.

Firstly, the hotel is old and very worn out. They have tried to renovate, but as seen in the attached picture, it has gone completely wrong. Secondly, it is unbelievably noisy. I could hardly tell whether the window to the street was open or closed. Thirdly, the hotel had an ATM in the lobby. One day, I was in a hurry and used it. I withdrew 1000 reais (172 dollars) which had a slightly high fee, but fair enough. However, what they don't tell you until you see it on your account is that they give such a bad exchange rate that it cost me 60 dollars just on the exchange rate alone. A hotel that allows a company to deceive its guests in this manner should be avoided; it says everything about their attitude towards us as guests. Well the app isn't working right, I can't attach the picture. That's a shame.

Le personnel aimable La toilette est sale et sens la moisissure et urine et les serviettes ont un gros mauvais odeur, je me suis seché avec mon linge pendant tout mon séjour même si j ai demandé d autres serviettes , le problème persistait. J ai eu une couverture avec une grosse tache de vieille sang lavée mais pas enlevé ( c est mieux de l éliminer) La climatisation est bonne et la télé fonctionne bien Le personnel réponde à toutes mes questions et m’ont bien conseillé à propos des activités, taxis etc. Merci
