"Staff was exceptional—they reached out to us after I responded with a “meh” to an Expedia query re check in. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location is great—just about everything in SF is walking distance. It’s an older property and you can hear your neighbors if they are loud. Outside rooms can get street noise. But it’s a solid value for the price (free parking and good breakfast included), especially for families or those who would rather spend their money in restaurants or art galleries in the city. "

"Just barely acceptable as an overnight stop. Room was not cleaned very well…had to get a broom and sweep out dirt inside the door. We won’t be staying there again in Sante Fe!"

"It is an architecturally unique structure. I can't speak for all the rooms, obviously, but my room (traveling alone) with a single king-size bed felt a bit cramped. The room consists of a "living room" with a couch for additional people to sleep (I guess), but the overall layout was a bit awkward to me. The bathroom was also relatively small. The pool was closed (March 28-29), but the Jacuzzi was on. There was live music, which I missed (ending around 10 PM). Continental breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. No omelet or bacon. Since I do not eat carbs, all I could eat were boiled eggs and cream cheese. I'd say "avoid it." They serve a regular breakfast, too. I should mention an awesome amenity: the shuttle. It was very helpful for getting around the vicinity, and it is free (but you should tip). "

"Excellent breakfasts, nice time to see others, good use of house! No TVs or news of Trump, close to other towns on High Road. Very friendly staff!! small room but very adequate. Good bed. Near one of best eateries in New Mexico with superb New Mexico food!!"

"Pros: If you are looking for a relaxing quite place, this is it. Beautiful area, quite, clear star filled skies at night. Wife loved feeding and petting the rescue horses and donkeys. Cons: Gas fireplace did not work, asked to have fixed three days in a row. Never did work. No paved roads on property, so very dusty. Food was good, but pricey. Coffee (filtered) quality was poor. Order espresso. "

"The staff at the front desk were nice and did the trick. Parking was a breeze. However, the walls were THIN. We could hear everything our neighbors above us said. The pull out couch mattress was old and worn out. The kids did not enjoy sleeping on it. The room itself was clean and we did like that it had a mini kitchen. "
