No customer communication what so ever. Property states Hotel, not Hotel. Upon arrival, no access to property, called phone number in front of building and left multiple messages. No one from this establishment even had the courtesy to return our phone calls. We were forced to seek other accommodations. In the 7 days we were there Expedia couldn’t even reach anyone. They left messages as well.

The hotel's location in the Town plaza was convenient allowing you to have no need for a car rental if desired. Very friendly family run business. Front desk staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Will go back and highly recommend.

We are very sorry that your night with us for you was not to your liking as you say in your comment, the room you booked was the same one in which you stayed and spent the night, because it is a small hotel which we are a hotel endorsed by the Puerto Rico tour company we do not have 24/7 reception like many other hotels in the area, It was very easy for you to get the keys in the mailbox assigned to you like other guests who come after hours, and you don't sign a contract it's only a registration form.

There is not parking available. You have to find a spot on the street and it is difficult to do so. The area is very loud with music and people and you can hear the noise in the room until early morning hours. The “garden view” is closed windows looking over an alley. The door did not lock. The knob was broke. There is no hot water. The toiletries were used, as in the soap etc. I went back to the front desk and said we were not going to stay and needed a refund. The manager would not refund the night and has refused to answer Expedia’s emails and phone calls requesting the refund on our behalf. I have never written a bad review and am overall not picky. Booking online is always a risk. I accept that. But this experience was something I have never encountered and just wanted a refund because we had to go find another hotel and pay there as well.

Dear GuestWe at Rincon Plaza work very hard to please all our guests but this was not the case with you, we could not please you in anything inclusive we offered to move you from room which you did not want to about the complaints of the room before and after you we had guests and no one complained, I can't understand that on a Thursday that was your reservation which is gallery night in our town where we received a lot of crafts and music in the square you complained that's why, in reality, we work very hard to please everyone equally, and we don't like injustices, much less threats. I hope he does well in his future.

Excellent stay and comfortable beds. My room faces the garden and it was a bit noisy outside the second night, but nothing terrible! Hotel has some updates and the staff is the best.

For our purposes it was fine. We spent one night only. The staff is great and the room was fine, maybe a bit small! The hotel has no parking. You have to park on the street or in the municipal lot across the plaza. That said it’s close to everything! Restaurants galore and close to the beach. Rincon does not have any high rises. It is a small town with small streets and a lot of charm.

Where do I begin? We arrived and were showed to our room which was on the ground floor The room was literally on a super busy street. You can hear people walking by talking sitting next to the hotel cars driving by sounded like you were literally sitting on the street. But the worst part was, it was infested with mosquitoes. We got bitten all over within first 30 minutes of being inside the room, all day offered was bug spray and a buzzer to walk around the room and to kill the mosquitoes. as soon as you open the door into the room, those mosquitoes right outside the room and a bunch inside. We asked them to switch our rooms. They said there was no availability. We said we can’t possibly stay in the room due to the mosquito infestation. We took our belongings and left within the first 45 minutes of being in the room and they did not want to give any refund. Please do yourself a favor and book any other hotel.

I am very sorry about your experience but we are located in the center of our town where there is a lot of activity especially for this Christmas time, about the mosquitoes we exterminate the hotel month by month and after almost 6 hours later he gave us his concern about the mosquitoes, also we could not offer him another room since we were full at that time, You decided to leave the hotel maybe for something else and I don't know that, that's why I say I'm sorry

The Rincon Plaza Hotel team thanks you for choosing us for your stay, We are sorry that you did not know how to work with the air conditioning but it was a mistake of you not to notify you immediately and additionally all the air conditioners are turned on from 12 pm so I can't understand that, about the front desk on weekdays always closes at 7 pm so we give a key to the front door to all our guests and about the parking lot as We are in the center of our town, so we use the street around the hotel or the park. We always are a phone call away to attend any situation from any guest because our guests always are the major priority for us.

Great but personally impacted
The hotel for the most part is great. For me however, I have an issue any place where I am asked to put used toilet paper in a trash can. I suffer from **a disease** where this kind of situation may result in a degradation of my health. Other than that, outstanding and a good bargain.

Rare find
Super clean and up-to-date, this hotel is a rare find. The staff are welcoming and attentive. Reasonable rates and right in the midst of Ricon, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby.
