"Love the peacefulness of the setting, can't be beat. The wait staff at the Lodge restaurant and cafe were great. Hubby is a wheelchair user. Please, stop standing there waiting for us as we a struggling to open, hold the door open and get through the door. Helping another customer, I have no problem with you not offering an extra hand. Just standing there waiting for us to get to the desk to check in or go anywhere in the building, walk over and help. Seating in the restaurant. If the table...

"No tissue, no hair dryer, we had two people in a double bed room but only 1 wash cloth and one towel. No phone in room to contact front desk. Sheets appeared clean but were stained. Would not recommend staying"

"The staff was great and helpful. The rooms/hotel were clean. The food was reasonable priced and was good. I ate in the speakeasy for dinner and the Circa 31 for breakfast. The only thing that may have been better is no fridge in the room. Also it would have been nice to have streaming on the tv. But being a historic hotel, I get it. Overall, our experience was great!"

Although we don't golf, the course and facilities always seem to be well-used, and guests appear to really enjoy them. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the hotel staff are consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. "The staff was nice, the room was disgustingly dirty there were stains on the bed spreads and on the mattress themselves, the sink kept backing up with every use. The walls and baseboards were gross, the tub still had someone else’s hair in it. I definitely would not stay there again and would not recommend anyone else to stay there."

"The room did the job and was cheap. The room smelled quite musty or Smokey when we arrived. My wife and I couldn't figure out which it was. Half the outlets/lighting fixtures didn’t work. The ac worked very well. The pool was nice. Staff was nice. Beds were clean. There were a lot of flies in the room when we arrived which was a bit off putting but overall we had a great stay for the price"
