This hotel was beautiful and in a gorgeous area. Very clean and wonderful amenities. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back sometime.

Beautiful modern accommodation! Convenient for overnighting before flying out YVR. Cell reception is poor in the area. Also had trouble finding the email with my access code, and then had to call guest services to reactivate the code, which took a few tries, so I highly recommend taking a screen shot of your access code so you have it handy and with no issue when arriving at the hotel.

The property is absolutely amazing overall but the check in experience was terrible. I was out of network for days so couldn't do remote checkin. And arriving to the property at about 11:30 pm was super stressful. Also I was allotted the suite 112A and the staff on the phone call for good amount of 20 minutes weren't aware that 112A was a different suite than 112. Thank God no one was staying there else they would have been pretty annoyed someone knocking their door during midnight.

The stay was exceptional. Everything. It was my first time with an app for a key (then a code to building and room). That was a bit embarrassing on how challenging it was after a long travel day. But the man who answered the phone at the sister hotel downtown in Vancouver was very helpful more than once. The fact there is no lobby and a heavy reliance on your cell phone I believe is something to be cognizant of. We’d stay again as it was convenient to everywhere we were going and more convenient than it looks on maps

Check-in is via cell phone, which doesn’t work well if you have issues with data. Once we were able to access the guest portal we checked-in at 4pm. We parked in the garage and used the elevators to go to the 1st floor where our room (a junior waterfront suite) was located. Our room was 10XA so we followed the interior hallway but could only find 10X – which was open and in the midst of being cleaned. We went back to the “lobby” where a staff member told us the room was not available because the cleaning staff were “overwhelmed” due to the Memorial day weekend. When the room was finally available (after 4:30) the staff member told us we had to enter our room from the outside of the building. We took our luggage, exited the building, walked around to the other side and entered. The room itself was great – spacious and clean. However, there were a few issues: we could not close the bathroom door unless another person on the outside of the door pulled it shut; during the entire stay a loud fan was constantly working (including overnight). In addition, the waterfront rooms, that have floor to ceiling glass windows, are located on a fairly busy boardwalk. If you open the curtains there is no privacy, so we closed the curtains – which defeats the purpose of a waterfront room. All in all, although the room itself was nice I don’t think we’ll be staying there again. A hotel really needs a front desk with personnel to help guests with whatever issues arise.

I was told that the property only offers self check in using either an access code or a digital key. I had not received a code, but I could get a code and a room number from the person at a front desk. The room was very spacious and clean. It is highly recommended.
