Our stay at Homewood Suites in Richmond, VA, was just what we needed and more than we expected! The lobby was inviting, staff very professional and friendly, our suite just exceptional and the bed so comfortable I had a hard time getting up. Not to mention the breakfast! It was delicious! I would recommend this hotel to all my friends.

Staff were great, room was pretty good for the price with it being basically its own little apartment. Breakfast was awesome and the guy keeping it stocked was wonderful. Parking for 25 a day was and is a bit ridiculous but everywhere is paid parking. However 5th and marshal was significantly cheaper. Bathroom was so bright it was uncomfortably so and it made me not want to take a shower in the morning because it would give me a headache and burn.

Overall stay was OK. It just feels a little old in the rooms - however they were stocked and clean. My room was missing a safe and the front staff was not super helpful. I was having to wait on hold and then had to follow up with them. It is on the safer side of downtown Richmond and there was not a time I felt unsafe at location. Breakfast is a nice addition - parking was easy. I would say it’s not a bad hotel by any means but isn’t one I would be eager to return to.

Our room was huge compared to our other hotel stays. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom seemed a bit tired, but was clean and in working order. The location was perfect for what we came to the city to do. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

There were fruit flies or some type of flies all over the room especially in the kitchen, I did have some bites on me. The toilet top was broken, and the ceiling was leaking all over the place at the check in desk. The clerk that checked me in was very nice and apologetic for the leak which was all over the floor. The maintenance man was very nice and took measures to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

The property is in a convenient location. Not much options for breakfast. Room was clean. Shower gel missing and had to call for towels.

Hotel is in a great location, however the room was extremely gross. Carpet was dirty, found hygiene products on the couch, shower had hair all over shower tiles, the shower head had orange stains and had very low water pressure. Ice machine was also out of order on my floor.

Road trip to Richmond

Picked hotel off location to a venue for a show. Originally booked a different hotel who was not accommodating to our party size. This hotel was able to easily accommodate us and was a much better price! Great location, staff was friendly facilities were clean. I'd stay here again for sure!

I always stay at this hotel when visiting my son in Richmond. This last trip was to watch his college graduation at VCU with a Masters degree. It is close to VCU. The rooms are very comfortable and roomy. My only complaint this trip is that the bathroom sink did not drin properly. Other than that I will continue to stay here

Perfect long term stay by hospital

The location was perfect to the hospital for a post transplant stay. easy in and out. decent breakfast (hot food!!! eggs, meat etc) apartment feel with full kitchen.
