This War Memorial Carillon can be seen from all over Richmond, but it towers over Dogwood Dell in Byrd Park. Built in 1928, today it features 53 bells, and plays concerts on veteran-related holidays. I hope to go to the top someday! #architecture
After a rare #snow in Richmond, Byrd Park looked quite a bit different than usual!
I took this picture of the A-Line Train Bridge near Pump House Park in Richmond, VA. To get here, you have to leave the park and head to the river, crossing over some railroad tracks to do so. Built in 1919, the bridge is still in operation today, carrying trains daily across the James! #architecture
