"Hotel itself is beautiful. Pool and amenities as advertised. Staff are well trained, professional, and very friendly. The room fit and fondue do not reflect the price - layouts are quite strange, ie. no sink on the same floor as the toilet and shower. And Bring your own mattress because the beds are exceptionally uncomfortable. Location would be the main reason to stay "

"The staff at Le Phenix are amazing . Always friendly. I felt comfortable with them. They are gracious for we English speakers who have less than rudimentary French (I practiced! Really I did!) The rooms have good AC if necessary. The restaurant associated with the hotel is shockingly good. Such a wonderful lunch! We did not have the breakfast buffet because we eat so light, we did not find value. I do wish there was a hot water kettle in the room. Beds are comfortable. Our room was spacious....

"Our hotel room was amazing! We got a double room for our family and it was so spacious and beautiful! The original elements of the building are preserved and are like going back in time, but with the modern updates blended that feel very clean and nice. Loved reading about the history of the building and seeing the architecture. The elevator was super convenient. Everything was walkable"

"Decent location, nice staff, strange decor/style which seemed to really date the property. The air conditioning barely cooled down the room. The bathroom curtains are very sheer and so it was extremely hot in the bathroom, even at 10am with the blazing sun on a high floor. It was 30 degrees C during our 1 night stay in May so quite miserable sleeping/showering."
