"Love the Beatrice. Beautiful rooms. Ultra responsive service. Shortfalls include: no morning breakfast weekdays dine in nor room service, no onsite fitness thought there is one next door without walking outside, and the onsite restaurant is not authentic to Rhode Island. Though I understand it is quite good. On our visit, they never quite finished making up the room leaving bed u finished and no Kleenex or coffee capsule refills. Nevertheless the Beatrice is the nicest hotel in providence. "

"Well the building is old but the charm of it outranked the smallness of the bathroom, or lack of water pressure....lol. I loved my stay there. The hotel staff were awesome, and especially the guy who checked us in. Younger guy, dark hair, don't remember his name, but he was super friendly and even offered lots of suggestions about local scenes that we should check out. He went way beyond just being friendly and made, what was my birthday celebration all the better. "

"Beautifully unique hotel. I loved the character of the building. Slightly disappointed in the staff and amenities. Staff were very forthcoming with information or advice. Coffee shop was closed for the entire stay. Worth the location for any show at the VETS Memorial Auditorium. "

"I arrived, and the room they offered me was full of garbage bags and extra furniture. Luckily, they answered my call and gave me another room, but I was supposed to have a king bed, not a queen. The ceiling light didn't work, so I gathered lamps to light the room. I felt unsafe as a man was sleeping in the shared space and was bothering my friend. "I go here many times to stay the night when there is a good band in the Lighthouse Bar. The rooms are always clean, modern and comfortable. They have a decent gym which I have used many times. Only complaints would be there is only 1 ice machine on the first floor and the room refrigerator is small but not a huge deal since I go for 1-2nights. "
