"PVI’s main attraction is its proximity to the ocean right at its doorstep. Beautiful views and plenty of beach to walk makes it an ideal stay destination in RI. The amenities are fairly limited prior to late May, as the heated pool isn’t available and the restaurant/bar is closed some days. Still, the beach area and nearby Westerly, Stonington, and Mystic have plenty of charm to make late April and early May worth the stay."

"No early check in unless IHG member. Was told by staff several times that I couldnt get an early check in "because I booked through expedia". Hotel is fine but wouldn't stay again. Inside feels outdated and seems a little dark/gloomy with gray hallways and one elevator at far end of hotel (opposite far end from check in desk & past many rooms) which felt very uncomfortable walking that far to check in with young children. "The staff was very helpful. The apartment we stayed at was very clean. The issues were with the bar noise being very loud at night, people being very loud at night and the inability to be able to park 1 night by our apartment. Otherwise the hotel was good."
