"Fabulous room ( Syfydrin ) facing the falls and the mountains. Bathroom was 'tight' but shower was excellent. We ate dinner at the hotel. Good atmosphere even mid-week in late September. Highly recommended esp if you are travelling in Mid Wales. The scenery close to this hotel is stunning."

"The hotel was clean, tidy, very modern. Staff member at reception was very polite, friendly and welcoming. Beds were comfy and bathroom was clean and tidy. We did not eat at the restaurant but it looked very nice and spacious. It is a little bit out of the town and about a 20-25min walk to the centre. There's a retail park opposite. I would definitely stay here again."

They have added double glazing inside the sash windows so although room was on the main high street it was super quiet - had a great night's sleep. "This is where we always stay in Aberystwyth. It is conveniently located on the edge of town with plenty of free parking. A flat 10-15 minute walk takes you right into the centre. The hotel reception is located in the pub next door, where there is a good choice of food. Secure access to the lodge is by key card. Unfortunately there is not a lift in the lodge, but it is only 2 floors. Our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped as was the bathroom. Working A/C was a bonus with our changeable weather. We have never been aware of any noise during our stays here, apart from maybe the odd door closing."
