Hotel was in a great location to walk to various sights. We arrived before checkin time and the hotel stored our bags so we could walk around town.

They accomodated us at 10:30am and even though it was very busy in the lobby/caffe’ and we couldn’t get coffee or food staff were courteous and very helpful! Great advice on where to get the best fish & chips (101 Bistro). Only downfall is no coffee machine in the room, we have traveled in numerous cities and always have this luxury (nespresso would be my suggestion). Anyway I would recommend this property to anyway who wants to be in the heart of Reykjavík.

I love this hotel’s location. It is centrally located and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. Even though the hotel is located on one of the main streets, window does a good job blocking sounds from outside. Also, blackout curtain was very helpful during these time when it never gets dark in Iceland. Hotel staff was friendly and the room was clean. Will definitely stay here again.

The property was very convenient to a walkable shopping, restaurant, and nightlife area and we had zero complaint with the accommodations. The only minor inconvenience was that while the breakfast is included in the attached restaurant, there is not much of a lunch or dinner menu as it is really mostly a bar and less of a restaurant.

We were upgraded to a balcony room at check in without even asking! Beautiful room, terrify view of the city. Very walkable area with lots to see and do.

Centrally located close to shopping, restaurants. They let us into our room early which was amazing. It said on the website it was 7 mins from the airport but it’s not, it’s 45 mins and cost $200 Canadian, one way, in a taxi and $100 Canadian on a bus that takes you to a bus depot and then you have to get another bus that only drops you in the area and not to your hotel! Be warned and prepared
