Easy airport hotel with self check in! Loved the location and comfortable rooms. The only downside was a band was playing somewhere nearby that could be heard from our room until 1:30am!

This property was spotless! Very updated bathrooms and never had to wait. Easy self check in. Nice restaurants near by and the waterfront is an easy less than 5 minute walk. Very Close to airport. I would definitely stay here again.

Conveniently located, not far from a bus stop, shopping and dining area. Small town, but worth visiting. Bathrooms were super clean and the beds were some of the comfiest we have slept in during our trip through Iceland.

We chose this place because we wanted a room to wait out our layover of about 20 hours close to the airport. It was a hostel type accommodation that was warm and comfortable, and the staff was pleasant. We had a private room with shared bathrooms. Everything was super clean and there was a nice lounge to make food and if necessary. We enjoyed our time there!

Great showers and few hot choc!

Absolutely perfect for a family before flying early the next day. Kids loved the free hot chocolates. The individual showers were clean and the room was perfect. Thank you!

A simple and clean space to stay. 7 mins walk to the bus stop where bus 55 will take you to the airport for 650 isk in 8 minutes. Once every two hours only. Check out the bus website for route and schedule. Free food left by travellers help you save.

Blue Viking was a great place for my family of 5 (kids aged 10, 12, 13) to stay on the night before our flight out of Iceland. It was very clean and convenient to the airport - and we made good use of the 'free food' area in the common kitchen! My only concern was the low ceilings in the room were a little troubling for my very tall husband.

Blue Viking was clean, check in was easy. It is a short walk to trails by the ocean. The room was clean, beds were comfortable & cozy. I was not sure what to expect with the shared bathroom, but that worked out well, there are 8 individual bathrooms in the central part of the property that are clean & you have to yourself. The property is close to the airport. The local town is cute. We would definitely come back to this property again. Great experience.
