I don't normally leave reviews however I felt compelled to leave one for this property. Andi and Yuki were wonderful hosts. The place was immaculate. The geothermal pool is a great addition. Make sure you get the breakfast for at least one of your mornings during your stay. It was fabulous.

Fantastic!
We were caught in a storm having been held on an arriving flight for 4hrs after landing. We decided to book a room here instead of drive in the storm that night. That room was great and Andy was a fantastic host helping us pick up the rental car the next morning 5 stars!!!

Outstanding - a home away from home
Andi and Yuki truly made our trip. Their place was immaculately clean and tidy. The couple were so helpful and were always there to offer advice and information with out being intrusive. They even took us up to a better view point to see the volcano erupting!

Lovely hosts
We enjoyed our stay at Guesthouse 1x6. The highlight of our stay was meeting the lovely hosts and enjoying the banter and laughter. We can highly recommend this lovely guesthouse.

Amazing hosts and super cute house. Beds are comfortable and everything is super clean. It is 10 minutes from the Reykjavík airport and about 40 minutes from Reykjavík, but tons of restaurants and shopping. The mineral is also a nice add on.

Amazing hosts! Great location from Keflavik Airport. Was able to walk along flower fields to this darling B&B right along the sea. Hosts Andi & Yukon were fabulous in so many ways - lent me a swim suit for hot tub, lent me a converter for my phone charger, gave me earplugs in case I wanted to use them. Andi was a fascinating conversationalist who provided a ride bs k to airport the next day. Unique property that was super clean and well appointed with very nice linens, hot water boiler in room, even a bathrobe! Would strongly recommend this property and I even hope to return someday!

Lovely guest house
Our hosts were so gracious and hospitable from the pickup at the airport, to loaning us warm jackets, making a delicious breakfast and finally, a ride back to the airport. The guest house was intriguingly decorated and very comfy. I would love to go back again.

We loved one by six guesthouse, Andi and Yuki were very accommodating and friendly. The place was immaculate and very close to town. Andi provided rides to and from the airport and always was ready with a cup of coffee. Yuki cooked an awesome breakfast every morning and was always ready to accommodate any request. Although we came to Iceland to see Reykjavík and other sites, we would gladly return to stay here again.

This was by far my boyfriend and I’s favorite place we stayed in Iceland. The owners made everything very personable for us, upon arrival we sat and talked and they made us coffee. They have a hot spring out back that was just so amazing and relaxing. I definitely recommend it, it’s a stay you won’t get anywhere else. Even after we forgot something in our room, the owners stayed in contact with us and made it very easy to come and pick up what we left. 10/10!!

Very creative and unique guesthouse with beautiful touches and details. Friendly, welcoming owners and the best breakfast in Iceland, lovingly prepared. The hot spring right on the property is amazing and we got to see the northern lights while enjoying an evening soak! Highly recommended.

Well where to start, Guesthouse 1X6 is a unique place to stay, you're not just getting a room and board to stay you are getting an experience. Andi and Yuki are great hosts and they took care of us from the moment we landed on there doorstep to the last day we were there. The breakfast is amazing and I'd highly recommend trying it out, absolutely delicious. Great location and within walking distance of restaurants and convenience stores. Definitely come back again!

Andi and Yuki are the kindest hosts I’ve EVER had the pleasure to experience. We were stuck in Iceland for days due to weather conditions, but they were patient, hospitable, kind, and more. Plus they make a great breakfast, make sure to try it at least once! Anytime I visit Southwest Iceland I’ll be staying at the home they’ve put so much love into. And honestly, even if I’m visiting elsewhere in Iceland I may make a stop there because I now consider them friends, not just hosts.

Andi and Yukiyo Are the perfect host for this quaint B&B styled Icelandic furnishings. The amazing breakfast made from organic ingredients enables one to start the day vim and vigor. The “hot springs” tub was a perfect way to relax sore muscles after a day of hiking and sightseeing. Andi is a perfect resource for providing great recommendations on things to see and do. I highly recommend staying there!

Andy and Yuki were excellent hosts. They genuinely just want your company and will make you good lattes and tell stories. They have a private lagoon hot tub in the back but we didn’t get to try it due to limited time. Definitely stay here.

If you are looking for a unique experience, then this is your place. The charm of the 1 x 6 Guesthouse gives you a sense of what it's like to live in Iceland. I can’t say enough about the owners, Andi and Yuki, they were welcoming, warm and engaging. Make sure you take the time to enjoy their hot tub lagoon in the backyard, it’s the next best thing to the Blue Lagoon. Finally, definitely order the breakfast option, you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing onsite hot spring.
Amazing space, really the hot spring onsite. Breakfast was homemade bread and great coffee. Beautiful rooms and very spacious. The unique features made it fun to explore. 12/10 will come back again.

Hosts Andi and Yuki are amazing. I recommend booking on their website instead, and purchase the breakfast. They will provide a pickup or drop off at the airport and are super friendly and willing to help in any ways possible during your stay. Couldn’t recommend them enough for a first day in or last day out of Iceland. Absolutely amazing.

Absolutely fabulous guesthouse! Andi and Yuki are the most gracious hosts. The guesthouse is charming and well-appointed and super close to the airport. Loved the geothermal tub in the yard and the breakfasts were amazing. Throughout our trip, they offered great assistance and guidance regarding recommended restaurants, attractions and road conditions. We felt VERY cared for. Highly recommend!

This is such a cared for thoughtful guesthouse. The details are abundant and the owners are the kindest nicest people! We laughed together and they offered handmade chocolates:) I stayed here 10 years ago when the property was owned by another awesome guy, so happy that the new owners put so much love and pride in to make sure their guests are happy:) I would come back a million times if I could. Everything on this guest house are excellent. You can feel the europian and Japanese culture on this guesthouse. We love our room, bathroom especially the steam bath pool. It fits on my taste:) our breakfast were made with love and homemade. Love the service and the hospitality of the owner. Highly recommended.

We love everything about our staying here for 4 nights, Andy and yuki are the best host ever they make you feel like home, we are coming back for sure fully recommend it... And also get breakfast it’s soo delicious

I have only praise for Andi & Yuki. The breakfast was yummy and attention phenomenal. They are wonderful hosts, very dedicated to making your stay comfortable and with a lot of suggestions/advice on what to do in Iceland (Andi even lent us books and printed out maps/directions since we are spatially challenged). We loved the geothermal pool they have but what made this stay exceptional was their personalities. Fantastic hospitality - will be recommended to any friends that are eyeing Iceland.
