"I thought that it was nearer to shops and restaurants and in town even though I knew it was a short distance from the airport.
I received a quick response when I texted the staff for information about a taxi service to the airport.

"This was a very basic bare bones accommodation. The cabin was fairly small but the furnishings, floors, fixtures were all old, musty and smelly. Bathroom in particular was smelling quite badly 😢 On the positive side, the location of the cabin was great and quite close to Keflavik airport.
