"I asked if I was able to check in two hours early and the clerk said yes. She gave me the room keys, told me where to park, and how to get to the room. I got to the room and it was not clean, beds torn apart. When I asked her about it, she said I showed up early and she didn’t charge me for it. I told her she should have told me it wasn’t ready yet and not given me the keys. She offered to have it cleaned really fast and I said no, I do not want you skimping on the cleaning, so asked for a discount, and she said no, because I tried to check in early. She clearly didn’t understand she could have told me it wasn’t ready yet but instead put the blame on me. For a Super 8, it was overpriced already and 4pm is a late check in to get ready for an event you may be going to. There’s no reason a whole floor of rooms were still not cleaned at 2pm. Needs improvement on customer service."
