"We ended up staying here on our way to Lake Tahoe from Yosemite. It wasn’t on our agenda originally but we had some extra time and they had an Italian food festival going on so we thought it was worth a stop. We are not big gamblers so we mostly just walked around. There are 3 casinos all connected to one another over several blocks so lots to walk around and see. We attempted to locate the big top area so we could see the little circus performance that they had going on every hour but never could find it despite asking several staff. If you’re not into gambling there isn’t much else to do. We are from Nashville so we are used to lots of free music to sit and watch. There wasn’t anything else in the way of entertainment available that we could find so we went to bed early. I’m sure for most people the primary draw is the casinos so if that’s your thing then you will love it!"

"This was my first time staying with The Whitney Peak, and it was a pleasant stay. Getting to the hotel was tricky because of an Italian Festival happened during our stay. It would have been more helpful if the hotel manager would send an email before we arrived to let us know how we can navigate all the closure and get to the hotel front for checking in. Valley parking was expensive. We only used it once but charged 3 times. I checked the bill before leaving & was able to get 2 removed. Our room was very nice; however, the shower curtain smells of mildew. Please have it laundered with bleach to remove the smell for the next guess. Bathtub was slippery, adding a bath matt could prevent accident. My husband almost falls while he was showering. Overall, I would stay here again."
