"This property was a monastery. It’s renovated. You can see the details of the building, the manager explained the history of the buildings. That staff are very nice and go beyond to help you in everything. They have great choice for eating, the patio is a wonderful place to have a cup of wine, read, chat or the like. "Good staff. Warm welcome. Old by-passed hotel typical of Spain. Just managing. Low room rate manages your expectations. Food was good. Warm atmosphere of locals. Only negative was the locked fire exit to the main bar. A push bar MUST be fitted. "

"The hotel is located right besides the basilica with superb views of the mountains and immediate access to the road leading to the Covadonga lakes. It has the character of a mountain lodge.
