Fabulous

We stayed four nights at Tree roots. The rooms were spot on:spacious, clean and comfortable. The manager couldn't have been more helpful, went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Could have easily stayed longer and would of had we not booked other accommodation in Ko Chang. Will be back for sure. Jim and Tal

Good to be chilling and relaxing

Friendly staff gave me good suggestions to go around Rayong. Nice arts and decorations, so nice to be chilling at very quite place there. Hope to come back soon.

Super nice place to spend a few days. The pool is nice, there are tons of books available to read, a nice gym, and a large area for martial arts and yoga with plenty of equipment. The management is fantastic! Walking distance to the beach with a few locals and rarely tourists. Many options for seafood along the beach road. Definitely a place to go back many times.

Peaceful friendly retreat

If you want a place where you can relax completely in peaceful surroundings, tree roots is the place to come. The area around the retreat is sparsely developed which adds to the charm. There are restaurants and shops within walking distance and a beach which has restaurants along it so lots of places to eat but most of them close at eight in the evening which was not a problem for us. The owners aaron and bim and their staff were open and friendly and could not do enough for us, if you needed anything they would go out of their way to help. Transport around the area was a little difficult, there is a local bus service but wasn't sure of the times but the owners took us to the local town ban phe which is worth a look and they also took us in again so we could catch the ferry to Koh samet. If my husband and I come back to Thailand next year we would stay there again.

Superhost!

Fantastiska dagar hos genuint trevliga värdar. Hotelet är i mycket bra skick och en oas att bara ta det lugnt aternativt träna om man vill. Finns massor av tränings möjligeter. Aaron och hans fru var fantastiska och vi kommer säkert att besöka dem igen när vi har möjlighet. Stranden ligger en kort promenad från resortet och första gången man gick kändes det lite långt, men det tar ca 6 minuter i normal takt. Det enda som kan upplevas vara negativt är strandens resturanger på kvällarna. Det är samma solstolar som på dagtid är super härliga, men på kvällen vill jag gärna sitta på en ordentlig stol och äta middag. Maten på strandens resturanger är toppklass dock, och superbillig. Så vi löste det genom att ta med maten till tree roots och åt den där. Tack tree roots för härliga dagar. m & m

体力作りを目的としたホテルです

今回は、ノンビリとリゾート気分を味わおうとこのホテルを予約しましたが、少し趣向が違いました。 特にローシーズンだった為、周りに何もないこのホテル周辺はかなり寂しかったです。 しかし、ホテルのタイプをよく理解して、ハイシーズンにしっかり篭って体力作りをするにはベストなホテルかもしれません。

Everything you want out of Thailand

This small resort is exactly what you are looking for out of Thailand. The location is perfect, a short walk from the beach, a short scooter drive from great authentic Thai or European style dining, and Rayong city is just down the expressway. Every direction is beautiful landscape under good weather. The resort offers every activity you could want for an adventure and the grounds are soothing and relaxing for the rest of your stay. The staff is personal and will definitely help you to make the most out of you vacation.

Literally: Retreat

We stayed three nights before flying back home in the Tree Roots Retreat and it was just perfect for our needs: relaxing, really nice and familiar atmosphere, nice breakfast, great staff and enjoyable sporty activities. Close to the resort: Nice Thai restaurant, 7eleven and beach. We can totally recommend to stay here if you want to calm down and if you just want to feel comfortable.
