"Dated property i.e., lobby/room furnishings, no elevator, radiators, unkept garden/storage area below balcony, no in room coffee items BUT very convenient to great restaurants, has good A/C, boutique shops, & ferry to St. Tropez every 30’ during summer w/last return from St. Tropez at 2 am. Owner at front desk until 7 pm extremely helpful & patient. Wife makes daily optional breakfast we missed due to late nights & sleeping in. Comfortable beds & free WiFi. No pool. Small check-in area. So fine if you plan to be touring & mainly sleeping /showering only at hotel."
Hotel Ventura Saint-Tropez, Tapestry Collection By Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"I was very surprised by this place! If you are looking for a modern set up this is it! We booked a queen size bed and was surprised to see all the modern features. It is a decent size room and a wonderful little kitchen. The kitchen is stocked of utensils, microwave, refrigerator and mini stove. I was so surprised! I normally don't bring home take out but to fight my jetlag it was necessary and this microwave save those 3am hunger.
Bathroom was excellent! Updated and has a heat rack! Room Has AC and room was cleaned everyday.
Yes early check in is available but with a price (150 Euro). After a very long flight, it was worth it.
Check in staff was ok. They look frazzled and maybe cause theres only two of them and everyone was trying to check in and out with no particular order.
It was a bit frustrating but I get it. They're not the most polite cause of the chaos. The night manager was very delightful and was able to assist with any issue we have with our booking.
We had really nice guys that helped us with our bags as the entrance had no ramp to roll the bags in. They were super helpful. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. For those who has stayed in other hotels in Saint Tropez, they know its all boutique and very small rooms. Most are not updated. So if you are looking for something modern, this is it! Great stay for the price! Walking distance to everything!"
"The property is spectacular. From the design, the art, the views, the food. This place is 12/10. My only feedback was for dinner the only options are Michelin star or complete lobster menu. While both are amazing, for the nights you just want something more simple, you would need to leave. My issue was we didn’t want to leave!!! I can’t wait to go back"
"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Douce. The property is beautiful, well appointed, and perfectly located. Our family loved the spacious room with bunk beds, which was a huge hit with the kids.
The partner beach club was a fantastic bonus, and the on-site restaurant delivered one of our favorite meals of our entire trip to France. The combination of great service, accommodations, excellent food, and stunning views made this a memorable stay. We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to families."
