"This could be something so special. The location itself is amazing and the accommodation for ‘camping’ is incredible. The service wasn’t great however. As kind as everyone was the timings were very off. Being told we needed to be ready for breakfast at 8 and not being served till 9.30. The same for dinner. We also told them we needed to leave on the final day at 7.30 so wanted breakfast at 7. We arrived at the breakfast tent at 7 and no one was there. Unfortunately it was the same for the...

"This was one of the highlights of my month long travels in Sri Lanka. The resort is absolutely beautiful, the glamping tents are stunning and the host can’t do enough for you. "La Pentera is a new property which has a unique concept of a tree house. The property is quite far from the Udawalawe National Park - about 30 km or so. The directions are also unclear, even if you use googlemaps. The property is new and in great condition. However, there are things that could be better, especially the food. The bathroom has hot water though there is some water leakage. A great experience stay but could be better."

"We only spent one night, but loved the tranquility of the Safari Lodge. We were the late October, so there were very few guests (and it was quite inexpensive). The room was great, the garden surroundings so peaceful, and the breakfast was lovely. We had dinner at Garlic, the restaurant next door. Great place!"
