"Be warned: you CANNOT get to this hotel with your own vehicle! You're required to buy a separate bus ticket in order to get to the hotel. We weren't told until a couple weeks before our stay that a bus was required to reach the property. We were stunned to find that bus tickets for our family of four were almost TWICE as expensive as the $285 room we booked for a single night. "This was a favorite stay during our travels in Iceland. The location was so pretty and quiet, the rooms and common spaces were clean, and Unnur provided a lot of useful travelling tips and local knowledge. There were games available in the common area, and free breakfast waffles in the morning. The hosts were very friendly. I only wish we could have stayed longer!"
