"Really enjoyed our stay. Owner was friendly and checked us in quickly. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Bed was comfy, loved the hardwood flooring instead of carpeting. The lake was right across the street from us. Loved how quiet the area was. Would book again as it was very close to the casino and restaurants for travelling to without paying an outrageous cost for accommodations. "

"A pure hidden gem. Tay Motel exceeded all of my expectations. The Managers Dayna and Jay were extremely friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the fire pit and the ability to walk to a great fishing area. It was an amazing stay and I definetly will be going back. "

"When we were arrived, we were greeted by the owner who was cleaning our parking spot of the snow. Super friendly and wonderful check-in. The room was very quaint and clean (other than a bone under the bed). All was wonderful, other than there were very minimal receptacles, but we travel with enough cords to deal with our CPAP and Laptop. The Wi-Fi for the laptop kept dropping out, but other than that, we will most certainly stay again. "

"First of all the pictures of the room is not what it actually looks like . We booked a 2 double beds when we got there we were told there wasn’t any . The bathroom had hair all over it there was bugs , spider webs . The sheets were stained . Room smelled like cigarettes. Couldn’t even stay there the night room didn’t even lock properly. Very disappointed with everything at that hotel . Won’t ever stay there or suggest it to someone in the future. "

"Though we stayed there for one night it was a pleasant stay. We stayed there with our 4 month old baby and while booking I was bit hesitant to stay in a motel thinking whether it would be comfortable for the little one or not. But trust me everything was perfect. They are maintaining the property very nicely. I would definitely book the same motel if I have to travel that side. Owner was very attentive and helpful. "there was garbage all around the front and parking lot. The windows are gone covered with wood and tarp. The rooms are dirty let me correct that very dirty. TV in both rooms but you can not use them. No phone in room to even call the front desk. Guest party in the hallway2-3 am. The only good thing the young girl at the front desk was very pleasant. "
