"Great setting of the hotel, upon arrival we were given an upgrade of our room. Nice and very large on the ground floor. A somewhat dated room but nevertheless clean and lovely. Parking was easy and on the large grounds. A quiet area. For dinner we decided to walk into town a walk of about 25 minutes. To begin with it was downhill and then levelled out and then up the hill towards the church. We are older citizens and the walk was no major challenge more a lovely walk. The town has many choices for dinner and is a nice place to walk around. Overall the hotel was a very good choice. Breakfast was a nice affair."

"We had a wonderful stay here. The gardens are beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast in the gorgeous solarium. We also took advantage of the warm weather and had drinks in the courtyard/ garden. Our host helped us with last minute dinner reservations and both restaurants were fabulous! We never would have found them on our own. Next time, we would book a larger room. We had a standard double room. It had everything we needed but we could have used more space."

"This hotel is situated above the main area of the seaside so it's a walk either up or down quite a steep hill to get to restaurants and shops- good for keeping fit! The staff were excellent and helpful but we had to change our room when the shower broke which meant we were moved to a smaller room. That spoilt our stay a bit as we had a lot of luggage and stuff."

"Didn't even stay there! It was extremely hard to find. The woman there didn't get up from her TV either time we drove in the driveway. Once she answered the door, the stairs were not climbable to access the room. "

"A great find. Charming French quaint small hotel with a bar and excellent restaurant. Very much feels like old world charm. Great location within walking distance of the town square and other attractions. Only a short drive (20 min) to Mt St Michele. Clean and modern amenities. Just be patient looking for a parking spot near the hotel."
