"Fabulous old building and good location for everything to visit historic center. Marlene was great and very helpful and breakfast was super. Caution though, steps are very steep and hard for 70 year olds with bad hips but charming room was so worth it! Room was large, linens great and full of character. Would totally recommend for stay in Angers."

"This is a high-quality, very efficient hotel within a five-minute walk of the train station and transport hub. It is exactly the opposite of a boutique hotel - nothing quirky (or annoying). Just a quality hotel. A note: Across the pedestrian bridge next to the hotel is a nice little neighborhood with restaurants, a grocery, a small park and a good laundromat. "Spotlessly clean room with a rack for my suitcase and somewhere to put unused cushions so as to keep them off the floor. Not a lot of interaction with staff but what there was was pleasant and helpful. I guess my biggest concern was what would happen if the lift broke down as I certainly couldnโ€™t have managed the stairs. No tea (or other hot drink) making facilities, but thatโ€™s not the end of the world."
