"The room was clean, staff very friendly, and the location would be perfect being across the street from a beach - but since the weather was not beach worthy, and not peak season (January) we did not get to use the beach, nor the outdoor tub on our verenda, and pretty much had the entire floor to ourselves and the dining room! It’s a new hotel, being just a year old, and I’m sure it would have been more fun later in the year with more people!"

"Hotel wasn’t open and had no notice of our booking. Looked like a family may have just bought it and was renovating it. They were fantastic!! Made us up a bungalow with a sea view and made us feel so welcome. Couldn’t fault them at all. Would definitely recommend this place when it’s up and running again. All the promenade and sea defenses have been destroyed by the typhoon but they are busy reconstructing them and we did manage to access the beach. "

"This hotel is close to coffee shops and restaurants. The lady at the front desk is helpful and friendly. We had breakfast at the hotel for $2. The food was very good. We enjoyed our stay. Our room is spacious and clean "

"Very comfortable and modern hotel located close to the riverside and about 1 km from beach where you can swim. Riverside is lined with restaurants serving seafood. You can see the fishing boats from the hotel. About 15 minutes walk in to the main town, recommend tree hugger cafe for coffee and juices. The breakfast selection at the hotel was very good mainly Asian style, with bread, meats and jams plus omelette station, fruits and mini cakes. The roof top pool is very nice for a dip, could have some deck chairs to sit on. Dong Hoi is calmer and quite compared to Hanoi and a place for a night or two while travelling south or as a stop to Phong Nha for the caves. "
