"Beautiful, old stone building. View from the front terrace and dining room is looking right at the Cirque de Gavarnie. Great access to hiking trails around this Cirque and also access to hikes into adjacent Cirques. The room was basic and dated, but clean and comfortable, nonetheless. A few oddities like no place to hang a towel, or the hall light didn't turn on when leaving the room (motion sensor was at the elevator end of the hall). Lydia was extremely warm and welcoming and fun to talk with. She even pulled out a topo map to help me plan several hiking routes."

"Hotel is located on the outskirts of this small mountain village, but the centre is easily accessible. Also located close to Thermal Park (including playground) and baths. Room was clean, with a decently sized bathroom and toilet. There is a convenient restaurant which offers good quality food at decent prices. Owners are very friendly and helpful."
