"Cosy cottage - perfect for two and a dog. The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone. "Good value room, very clean and everything you’d need. The only thing I’d request is better information on food options. I would have used the onsite restaurant but the guest information pack wasn’t clear and listed external restaurants which I thought was strange when they had an onsite option."

"The room was quaint, bathroom lovely. A nice welcome tray with biscuits and drinks. 3 flights of narrow stairs so we were glad the owner helped us with our suitcase. Would have been difficult and it’s definitely not for the handicapped. Our biggest disappointment was that no breakfast was served, especially as there’s a nice breakfast room downstairs - thought there should have been for the price.
