"I drove 2 hours and paid a few hundred follars for a room for 2 with a view, balcony, jacuzzi tub and as soon as i walked in with my son to check in i was told kids cant stay in there rooms, they canceled my reservation on the spot and was told sorry expedia is supposed to advertise these rooms are adult only. That was not advertised anywhere. Everywhere i called to reserve a room that day as it was a saturday late afteernoon and a busy weekend at the coast all hotels were booked out. "

"Overall a decent place to stay but I will look elsewhere if I return. The staff were kind and helpful, the general areas were relatively clean enough. In the hotel room the floors, sheets, and general surfaces were clean enough. The balcony and bathrooms were a disaster. The balcony looked like it hadn't seen by another person in 3 years. The bathroom was nearly unusable. Towels were clean and folded nicely, toilet was clean, sink was clean, but the tub had an old yellow stain that turned...

"Parking was good. Room clean, but small. No drawers for clothing, no closet, no chairs, just tiny stools, hard to keep towels dry as there were no towel racks. Refrigerator and microwave were convenient.OK for a day or two. When driving out from motel onto Highway 101, the South exit gives much better visibility of traffic during busy times."

"I felt yucky being here. The first room we got into smelled like smoke, the mini fridge had a duct tape handle and it had not been properly cleaned. I was able to get them to move us to another room but only after I asked too cancel and checkout and waited for a helpful response of some kind. The pictures on Expedia are very misleading."

"My wife and I stayed here because of the wheelchair accessability & we were seriously disappointed. My wife is in a wheelchair so we got a wheelchair accessible room and even though the room had a roll in shower she couldn't reach the shower wand, the fridge was in a cabinet that opened opposite of the fridge door so unaccessible. The window & AC was blocked by a chair & ottoman & the window had 2 pull cord blinds, one on each side & with the chair in the way one blind was unaccessible. The sink...

"Their cleaning staff quit in the middle of their shift so they had someone else clean. We were missing trash bags, towels, found sunflower seeds by the bed, hair in the shower, old used soap bar, the jet tubs jet didn’t work, which was the main reason we rented this one, and the door took 10 tries to get unlocked because the door wasn’t aligned well from what I could guess was a door kicked down. The view was beautiful but the yard was full of cigarette butts."

"The Palace is showing some age, but it’s a good value for the price. The family room was large with a usable kitchenette and table. "
