"Tulemar is truly like being in paradise! We woke up to monkeys playing on the roof in the morning and jumping from tree to tree. We could not stop watching them. Brian was our concierge and he was the best! Anything we needed he took care of. We could relax and didn’t have any worries. The grounds are beautiful and perfectly maintained. The beach was nice and they provided chairs and umbrellas along with food and drinks. I will definitely be back. Pura Vida"

"Alas, this property has seen better days. It’s not horrible, or even unbearable, but bare bones. AC was adequate for sleep but not for siesta. Beach is not inviting. Nearby bars were ok for food. We left a day early. "

"Casa Curre was exactly as advertised. The views from the house were stunning, and the house is clean & comfortable. The driveway is steep & gravel - a little ground clearance is needed and 4x4 is a good idea, but probably not required. It's a longer drive into town than i realized - it's narrow and curvy but the road is in good shape. If you can make it up the mountain to Santa Elena, you'll be ready for it.
