"The best place to stay on Skiathos! Room was wonderful, with comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchenette, and lovely balcony with a view of the sea. It was a 30 second walk to a beach with gorgeous turquoise water in addition to a 25 minute walk into town. "The room we were put in on arrival was very basic and small, the 2 drinking glasses were dirty and dust on the cups, no cutlery, plates available in the room so asked for a bigger room but I had to pay €125 extra."

"We absolutely loved staying here! It’s a lovely hotel just on the edge of town, giving you incredible views and a lovely short walk into the centre of town. "Beautiful view from our balcony and communal area round the front of the property. Very clean with great facilities and air con, the wifi was not the best so be prepared. Very steep walk up to the property which is doable if you are quite active, would recommend to have a car or motorcycle otherwise. Close to a bus stop, nice supermarket and town centre. "

"A wonderful 10 night stay at Margi House. Bed was very comfortable. Air con was blissful. Cleaned really well daily with fresh towels. Swimming pool was exceptional. Loads of sunbeds & cleaned daily. Andreas at Margi House was exceptional. Ordering taxis and giving us lots of local knowledge The free nespresso coffee was bonus. A few bars/restaurants within easy walking that were great. "

"Nicos, Katrina, Alexandra, Maria looked after us with pleasure, smile and friendly conversations. The property is perfect for us , 2 adults and 14 yr old daughter. The beach and restaurants were within 5 to 10mins walk. Supermarkets locally and the marina also. Breakfasts were excellent, wholesome and leisurely. "

"Ensure you contact the host in advance to arrange a check in time as this is not clear in the confirmation email. Even so, we were disappointed that we had to wait almost an hour to enter the room, despite emailing our arrival time, as the owner had decided to go to the beach. Otherwise, the owner was helpful. The rooms are in a beautiful terraced area and clean."

"Reception staff were not knowledgeable or informative about the area or even the hotel at all. "The hotel is beautiful, staff are extremely friendly & English is very well spoken here. There is a bus literally outside the hotel that takes you into Skiathos town where you can dine & shop for hours. The only criticism would be the bathrooms we stayed in the 300’s & they are very dated quite awkward with a double folding glass door.
